Baylea Wagener Cramer, Ph.D., LPC
Areas of Treatment:
Trauma, abuse, sexual assault, domestic and family violence, clinical mental health diagnosis, anxiety, depression, gender related issues. Specializes in post-traumatic growth and growth oriented models. Uses an integrative framework to tailor treatment to the unique needs of the individual, incorporating strategies from cognitive behavioral and other treatment modalities. Works with individuals, couples, and families, across diverse populations and all ages.
Areas of Treatment:
Individual, children and families. Uses cognitive behavioral approaches along with other theories and techniques, based on the needs of the individual. Trained in trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy. Works from a recovery oriented model with a goal of helping others become their best self.

Individuals, children and families using an eclectic approach to therapy, from solution-focused therapy to cognitive behavioral therapy. Helps client to help him/herself reach his/her full potential. Speaks Spanish fluently and is eager in counseling those individuals who only speak Spanish and want to seek counseling services.

Everett Bush, MS, LPA, BCBA/LBA
Areas of Treatment:
Mr. Bush has a Master of Science in Applied Psychology and is a Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice ability. He is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst. Mr. Bush has over 30 years of total experience in the areas of community mental health, in-patient psychiatric services, and out-patient therapy (25 years experience with the state of Texas). He works with all populations for therapy, assessments, and Applied Behavior Analysis.
Maria Rangel-Gomez, MS, LPC
Areas of Treatment:
Bilingual counselor with proven advanced counseling skills in the areas of individual, couples, family, group counseling and crisis intervention. Proven skills in behavioral management with children, adolescents, and adults. Ample experience in working with vulnerable populations diagnosed with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and mental health diagnosis including but not limited to Autism. Experience working adjudicated youth and unaccompanied immigrant youth. Training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Former leadership roles in the counseling profession at local, state, and national levels. Achievement-oriented professional with 20+ years of diversified experience in administrative operations, budgeting, record keeping and data collection. Strong organizational skills and customer service with proven ability to learn new skills and tasks. Excellent reputation for dedicated teamwork and commitment to meet deadlines. Recipient of various recognitions and awards related to employee excellence, leadership, and advocacy efforts.
Christian Tovar, MS, LPC, LCDC
Areas of Treatment:
Mr. Tovar has a Masters in School Counseling and a Bachelors in Education and Organizational Psychology. He is a bilingual counselor with experience in trauma and cognitive behavioral therapy and is certified in family orientation and psychoanalysis. Mr. Tovar is also trained in psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and applied suicide intervention skills.
Elizabeth Schlimmer, LP
Dr. Elizabeth Schlimmer is a provisionally licensed psychologist providing comprehensive mental health services specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Central Florida (1995), Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oklahoma (1997), and Doctor of Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University (2015). She has provided individual & group therapy, pain management, diagnostic and pre-surgical evaluations in various settings, including UTMB Galveston, BAMC, Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital, Southern Oklahoma Resource Center, private practice, and community counseling centers. Dr. Schlimmer is dedicated to helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. She is supervised by Dr. Robert Cramer.
Angela Barrera, Provisionally LP, LPC-S
Areas of Treatment: Dr. Barrera has worked with an extensive range of populations, including children, adolescents, adults, geriatric individuals, juvenile detainees, injured workers, children with special needs, veterans, trauma victims, couples, families, groups, etc. During treatment, she utilizes a Cogntive-Behavioral Approach coupled with a Humanistic Approach.
Shelley K. Book, MS, LPC-A, Supervised by R.C. Cramer, Psy.D., BCBA-D/LBA, LPC-S
Areas of Treatment
Children, pre-teens, teens, and adults using contemporary psychotherapy (i.e., cognitive behavioral, person centered, problem solving, reality therapy, and grief recovery) to focus on "here and now" problems and feelings. Specializes in children and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger and impulse control, school issues (bullying/academics/peer relations), communication, and trauma. Helping clients focus on solution focused strategies to improve their quality of life.
Caitlyn Hill, Psychologist Assistant
Caitlyn Hill graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. She uses behavioral techniques and a client-centered approach when working with clients. Her primary experience has been working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders. While her primary focus is on working with children, she has worked with a variety of individuals ranging in age and diagnosis.
Kathy Cramer joined Coastal Bend Psychological Associates in 2014. In her role as Office Manager, she provides high-level support to Dr. R.C. Cramer. She maintains the daily operations of the office including accounting, client scheduling, and special projects for the practice. Kathy serves as the firm’s liaison to cb-pa team members and has over a decade of administrative experience.
Confidentiality
All information between the counselor and client is considered confidential and records are carefully protected. The content of your sessions will not be disclosed to anyone, with some exceptions. Exceptions to confidentiality include: (1) the counselor is authorized by the client to release information; (2) the counselor is required by law to inform the proper authorities due to (a) the client presenting a physical danger to self or others, (b) child abuse or elder abuse is suspected, or (c) the counselor is ordered by the court to release information; and (3) in the case of a counselor-in-training, the counselor will engage in clinical supervision with Dr. Cramer, who will maintain the clients’ confidentiality as stated above.
